P&C DONATES $20,000 !!!
At the 18 March meeting, the school executive asked the P&C for an extraordinary donation of funds to support the purchase of new materials and resources for our children:

The P&C has agreed to fund this significant expenditure. The purchase of these resources has already begun so that they will be available for use in Term 2.
This donation would not have been possible without the fund raising efforts of the P&C in recent years. Thank you to all of the families who have volunteered their time or donated at our Car Boot Markets and other fund raising events.
NEW COMMITTEE – P&C EXECUTIVE 2013
The P&C AGM was held on Monday 18 March. The following people were elected to hold the following positions for the 2013 school year:
President - Julian Somosi (Axel, Year 3)
Vice President, Primary - Mary Pazpinis (Christine and Despina, Year 5)
Vice President, Infants - Sarah Klenbort (Kaitlyn, Kindergarten)
Treasurer - Antonella Mangioni (Zac, Year 5 ; Phillipa, Year 3)
Secretary - Kim Eberhard (Angus, Year 4)
Congratulations to the new committee and a special welcome to Sarah, who is new to Waverley Primary School and the P&C.
The personal rewards gained from working with an eclectic and diverse group of volunteers is tremendous. If you think you can offer new ideas and skills, or simply want to get involved, consider joining the P&C in 2013. You can do as little or a much as you want!
